Following its three-day peer audit at DQS Holding GmbH and DQS GmbH, Maria Júlia Vaz from APCER in Portugal and Friedrich Khuen-Belasi from Quality Austria, found both companies to be in full compliance with IQNet regulations. The DQS management system fulfills the demands of IQNet and is compliant with ISO / IEC 17021 – that was the conclusion on 23 June 2016.
In an extensive and very constructive audit, which included several staff interviews and sampling of certification processes, they identified a number of strengths as well as areas with room for improvement.
“DQS GmbH once again demonstrated their expertise and excellent service performance to their IQNet partners. A big ‘thank you’ to all my colleagues who have contributed to the success of this peer audit“, said Matthias Pärsch, Group Manager at DQS Holding GmbH.
For DQS, a founding and full member of IQNet, this partner network is an important part of its international strategy. According to Matthias Pärsch, regular exchange of information on changing standards, participation in standard revisions, joint or co-certification with IQNet partners or reciprocal use of joint auditors – all these benefits increase the efficiency and the global reputation of the entire DQS group.
IQNet, founded in 1990, is the world’s largest network of leading international certification bodies bodies. Worldwide certifications are centrally organized and provided through the national partners of the network. With more than 300,000 certificates issued, the partners of IQNet make up around a quarter of the world market. Michael Drechsel, Managing Director of DQS Holding GmbH and President of IQNet since 2010, was also pleased with the outcome of this audit among peers.
